How to Crack CAT 2016 exam?

A good score in CAT is essential to secure a seat in one of the top IIMs and B-Schools in India. CAT scores are accepted by almost all the reputed business institutes across India. 1. Know your syllabus

A student must try to solve as many previous question papers as possible, in order to understand the question patterns, type of questions, mark allocation and more. Previous question papers will give you an idea how you should go about preparing for the exam and score better.

3. Track your progress

Tracking your progress from time to time is essential to understand where you stand in the race. A 98% percentile and above is a must to be able to secure a sit in reputed B-schools and build a great management career. So you must track how far your progressed by testing yourself. This you can do by keeping a score of your first marks when you solved a paper and continue testing yourself every 20 days to understand where you need to progress better.

4. Time management

Time management will play a crucial role in deciding how well you will score in the CAT exam. There are sections which will take more of your time, but you need to manage and complete all questions within the stated time. Failing to finish questions within the given time will make you score less in each of these sections. Since there are no options to switch between questions, so you will need to complete everything within the allotted time for each of the sections.
